Passionate for people, Rene Rockwell is dedicated to helping equip individuals with special needs and their families with the tools needed to experience growth in the areas of communication, social interaction, daily living, and behavior.
Rene works as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Utah Behavior Services at the Riverdale office. She supervises cases utilizing evidenced based methodologies, strategies, and procedures and designs and implements individualized, developmentally appropriate curriculum for children and teens diagnosed with autism spectrum and related disorders.
Rene believes that all people have a capacity to learn and finds great joy in helping others – many of whom are faced with difficult challenges and frustrations – reach goals far beyond what they believed possible. With over 10 years of experience, Rene achieved a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, San Marcos and a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction (Applied Behavior Analysis) from Arizona State University. In her free time, Rene enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Trent, and their two dogs.
